What do we do at ABAST

The Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​through the institutional program Universitat a l'Abast, exercises the guardianship of different University Extension Classrooms for the elderly (AEU). AEUs are organized by independent associations that offer training to their members. The most common format is weekly conferences, in addition to training trips. In some cases, monographic courses, workshops, etc. are also scheduled.

AEUs draw up their schedules autonomously. They decide on aspects such as professor fees. They voluntarily link themselves to a university so that it can ensure the quality of the academic content. In the case of the UAB, there are 20 linked AEUs, located in 17 municipalities, bringing together more than 4,800 members.

THIS SURVEY IS ADDRESSED TO TEACHERS WHO ARE WILLING TO CONDUCT SESSIONS IN PRESENTIAL OR VIRTUAL FORMAT DIRECTED TO THE AEU.
